Dutch Salvage founders

Founders

Dutch Salvage was founded by Marcel van Bezooijen and Bart Peters. By accident they discovered their combined passion. Digging for old attractable items. Wether it is literally digging for archealogical findings or digging through old stuff on a market or thriftstore, they want that these old items get a second chance at a collector or simply in someone’s house.

Marcel, born and raised in Amsterdam,  is a fanatic metal detector enthusiast for more than four years now and is a frequent visitor of auctions and antique stores. As an amateur photographer he knows how to highlight the beauty of all the items.

Bart, proud inhabitant of the oldest city of the Netherlands, Nijmegen, has a background working as a handyman. These skills are helpful in beautifully restoring old goods. In his free time he often visits, thriftstores, markets and scrap/salvation yards.
